General Questions

We offer educational resources and teaching tools for topics from early pregnancy all the way through the postpartum period. Developed by educators in collaboration with health care providers (learn more about our team here), our resources have been used to educate families for over thirteen years. We have booklets and handouts for distribution to birthing or postpartum clients. We also have evidence-based Teaching Curriculums, PowerPoint Courses and Posters that can be used by educators, public health professionals or medical providers to teach classes, provide bedside education or in-home support.

Our childbirth education tools align with the Lamaze Healthy Birth Practices and Essential Content. Our breastfeeding resources are appropriate for Baby-Friendly organizations.

Anyone can purchase our resources. There is no affiliation or certification required.

Plumtree Baby products are the most updated and comprehensive perinatal education products available. Created by educators, our products are affordable, user-friendly, and consistently receive five-star ratings.

Rather than take a “one-size-fits-all” approach, we recognize that expectant parents benefit from learning the advantages and drawbacks of many different choices in order to make the best decisions for their birth. We call this approach "Thoughtful Decisions" and incorporate this theme throughout our products.

Yes! We know it is important that the materials you use align with your company standards. That is why we include comprehensive product images and video previews of most of our resources. In addition, use the green "View Sample" button in the product descriptions to see a sample.

Many training programs leave new educators on their own to develop their own course and materials. Our Starter Packages eliminate the hassle of starting from scratch by providing every resource a new educator needs.

The packages include:

- Teaching Curriculum (digital or print/digital)

- 10 copies of the parent workbooks

- Corresponding PowerPoint slides (standard or custom branded)

Copyright: All of our products are copyrighted and can not be copied or reproduced. The only exception can be found in our Curriculums where specific pages have been marked with permission to copy for non-commercial use. This allows you to copy select pages for use by your clients only.

Licensing: Our digital resources come with a standard license which is valid for one location or facility for up to five users. A "user" is defined as an educator, instructor or birth professional who provides instruction to multiple clients.

For larger businesses with multiple locations and/or more than five educators, contact us for a quote.

PowerPoint licenses: The PowerPoint license permits the use of the slides for live in-person or online classes/webinars only. The license allows you to customize the presentation by hiding, rearranging or adding additional slides (using our blank slide template). However, slide content can not be edited.

Our resources may not be shared outside of your organization or business and digital distribution to clients or patients is not permitted.

All of our posters are laminated.

Large posters are 18x24" and DO NOT fit in the Display.

The Desktop Poster Display holds up to 40 small size posters (11x17"). The display can be purchased by itself and you can add your own posters or it is available with poster sets. Displays with small posters are the perfect resource for small groups, home visits or to display in exam and birthing rooms.

Each product has a unique ID called a SKU and/or ISBN number listed in a specifications tab.

Plumtree Baby’s parent education resources have been written to comply with the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes and fulfill the requirements based on The Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding, evidence-based practices established by the BFHI.

We offer Baby-Friendly versions of our Settling In with Baby and Newborn Care books, teaching curriculums and PowerPoints. All of our breastfeeding resources, including the Breastfeeding Your Baby booklet, are also Baby-Friendly.

Custom options and the timeline vary by type:

- Custom Packets include a custom folder design and a two page custom designed handout. You can also upgrade to include custom branded books. Custom Packets typically take 3-4 weeks to arrive.

- Branded Books include a custom designed four page cover with your choice of cover image, your logo, your custom content on inside/outside back cover). Books are printed quarterly. See the product description for more details.

- Custom Handouts and Guides include your choice of cover image (where available), you logo, contact info and color scheme. Orders typically take 3-4 weeks to arrive.

- Branded PowerPoints include your company color scheme, logo, title and choice of cover image. Orders typically take 4-5 business days to complete and are delivered via an email link to download the file(s) to your device.

- Branded Posters include your color scheme and logo. The minimum order quantity is 10 posters per title/size/language. We can also custom brand our Desktop Poster Display.

For most resources, you will need to provide your logo, brand colors, contact information and design preferences (cover photo, etc.).

We provide a Design Guide that has all of the details and the steps you need to know before placing an order.

Our design team is always happy to consult with you and we walk you through each step of the process.

Ordering

Order directly through our website with a credit/debit card, Paypal or other connected payment accounts. Contact us to pay with a purchase order or check.

Anyone can receive bulk discounts automatically! Bulk prices and quantities are listed in a box right above the "Add to Cart" button for many of our products.

We also offer discounts on our Starter Packages.

If you wish to purchase in larger bulk quantities, please contact us to get a price list or quote.

Yes! Contact us to set up a tax-exempt account or to get approval for a purchase order (PO) payment. Send the following:

- Business name
- Contact name
- Contact email address
- Contact phone number
- Billing address
- Tax exemption letter/certificate (if applicable)

Our PowerPoints and digital Curriculums can be downloaded using the link we send via email shortly after purchase.

Download links can be used five times and expire 1 year after purchase. We strongly recommend that you save a backup copy of the file(s) with a cloud service to ensure you always have access to them.

If you order a custom branded PowerPoint, you will receive the download link once you approve the design.

Orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days (excluding holidays) using the method selected at checkout. When orders ship, a notice is sent to customers, including tracking links.

Shipping speed varies by carrier and destination and does not include order processing time. We can not guarantee a delivery date, but if you have a "need by" date, please add it to the comments and we will let you know if that date can be met with your shipping choice.

We primarily use USPS and UPS for shipping our products. During checkout, you can select from several shipping options. 

We offer shipping to many countries through our website. We can ship to countries not listed and provide a custom shipping quote by email. Please email us and provide your product list, quantities, and shipping address. We will email you a quote and ship the products once your payment is completed.

In addition, we have distributors in FranceCanada and Australia. Check out their websites for resources available locally. 

If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, you can return your item(s) (unless the item is specified as clearance/non-returnable and non-refundable) for a prompt refund or exchange. Refunds for items returned within 14 days of receipt of the package will be credited the original purchase price (excluding shipping charges) to the original payment method. Returns are accepted for domestic orders only (shipped within the United States).
