Our new edition corresponds with our newest Preparing for Birth books (now available) and fourth edition Preparing for Birth PowerPoint. This resource is compatible with most childbirth education training programs, including Lamaze, ICEA and CAPPA, making it easy to get started teaching a childbirth class.

The curriculum includes lesson plans for up to an 8 hour childbirth course. We include modifications for teaching a shorter or longer course and provide guidance for how to arrange the course.
